RFID test tools

Tools for testing RFID devices in the browser (Chrome or Edge, over USB), with command-line versions. Source: mfcarroll/rfid-test-tools.

Chameleon Ultra

Each tool needs its own test firmware, available to flash on the page.

Crystal oscillator offset How fast or slow the 32 MHz crystal runs, measured against internet time. FSK self-trim (experimental) Emulates HID Prox, Paradox and ioProx cards matched to a reader's clock. Put the same card in slots with and without the various experimental modes, and see which ones a reader accepts. Card search Finds out what kind of card or fob you have: tries every LF card type the CU reads, works out an unknown card's modulation, bit rate and frame length from its raw signal, and checks HF. Gives a report that's safe to share. Indala test Measures the timing of the CU reading Indala cards, and a Flipper Zero reading the CU's Indala emulation. Compare firmwares by flashing between runs, without moving anything. For testing PR #509.

Flipper Zero

Crystal oscillator calibration Measures the 32 MHz crystal against internet time and saves the correction in a new version of the RFID detector app, allowing exact LF reader frequency measurements.

Proxmark3

Needs test firmware, which you flash with your own pm3 client.

Crystal oscillator offset How fast or slow the 16 MHz crystal runs, measured against internet time. The PM3's 125 kHz LF carrier is off by the same amount.
